La Loutre x Algologie: A Breton Collaboration Around an Illustrated Skincare Gift Set
At La Loutre, we love creating designs that tell a story. When the Breton skincare brand Algologie invited us to collaborate on a new skincare gift set, we immediately embraced the opportunity. We share the same values: a deep love for Brittany, a passion for beautiful design, French craftsmanship, and a commitment to creating authentic, high-quality products.
This collaboration resulted in the Trésors des Vagues gift set, featuring an exclusive illustration created by Cléo, illustrator and co-founder of La Loutre.
An Exclusive Illustration by Cléo
For this project, Cléo designed and illustrated the entire gift box. The goal was to capture Algologie's marine-inspired universe while bringing La Loutre's distinctive artistic style to life: soft colors, a neo-vintage atmosphere, landscapes inspired by Brittany, and a touch of poetry.
Every detail of the packaging was carefully crafted to create a memorable visual experience before the box is even opened. More than just packaging, it becomes a beautiful keepsake that people will want to display and preserve.
A Complete Packaging Design
Beyond the illustration itself, we had the pleasure of designing the entire gift box. Layout, graphic composition, color harmony, and product presentation were all carefully developed to reflect Algologie's premium identity while preserving the warm, illustrated universe that defines La Loutre.
This type of project perfectly represents what we love to do: using creativity to help brands tell their story through beautifully designed products.
The Trésors des Vagues Gift Set
This limited edition gift set includes two of Algologie's signature skincare products:
- A Hydrating Elixir, enriched with hyaluronic acid to deeply hydrate, plump the skin, and restore its natural radiance.
- A Hydrating Cream with a light, velvety texture that instantly nourishes the skin while leaving behind a fresh and delicate fragrance.
Our recommendation is simple: apply a few drops of the Hydrating Elixir to your face and neck morning and evening, then follow with the Hydrating Cream for long-lasting hydration and beautifully soft, comfortable skin.

This project perfectly reflects the values we promote every day: local, meaningful, and creative collaborations. Like La Loutre, Algologie draws inspiration from Brittany's stunning coastline while developing skincare products that celebrate quality, natural ingredients, and French expertise.
The gift set is designed and manufactured in Brittany, overlooking the beautiful Bréhat Archipelago, a place that has long inspired lovers of the sea.
