La Loutre x La Trinitaine: A Long-Standing Creative Collaboration Inspired by Brittany

For several years, La Loutre has had the pleasure of creating exclusive illustrations for La Trinitaine, the iconic Breton biscuit maker founded in 1955 in La Trinité-sur-Mer. This local partnership brings together two companies that share the same passion for Brittany, its heritage, and French craftsmanship.

Every year, we design new illustrations to decorate La Trinitaine's famous collectible metal biscuit tins, filled with delicious Breton butter biscuits and traditional palets bretons. These limited-edition tins have become true collector's items, cherished long after the biscuits have been enjoyed.

A Collaboration Built on Shared Values

2024 Collection: The Four Seasons of La Trinitaine

For the 2024 collection, we created a series inspired by the four seasons. Each tin represents a different time of year: the blooming flowers of spring, the vibrant colors of summer, the warm tones of autumn, and the peaceful snowy landscapes of winter.

At the heart of the collection stands a majestic tree that transforms throughout the seasons, symbolizing the passing of time and the joyful moments shared around a box of Breton biscuits.

2025 Collection: A Day at La Trinitaine

For the 2025 collection, we imagined a brand-new concept entitled A Day at La Trinitaine. This series illustrates different moments of a perfect day by the sea, from the first light of sunrise to the warm colors of sunset.

The illustrations celebrate the simple pleasures of coastal life: a surfboard resting on the sand, a sailboat gliding across the water, a beach bucket, gentle waves, flying seabirds... and, of course, La Trinitaine's famous biscuits accompanying these relaxing moments.

This first tin from the collection was co-created with our friends and neighbors at La Trinitaine to capture a warm, timeless, and contemporary Breton lifestyle.
